Robofest is an annual autonomous robotics competition focusing on learning STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology and Math) for students in grades 5 - 12 and college students. Robofest challenges teams of students to design, build, and program robots to compete in the following categories in two age divisions:

Game Competition - A team of students competes to accomplish robotics missions using fully autonomous robots.
Exhibition - Each team has complete freedom to show off any creative computer programmed robotics project they have created.

2010 Season Schedule

Dec. 10, 2009: Kick-off; team registration begins.
Jan ~ Feb: Technical Workshops
Feb. 13, 2010: Warm-up competition (Judges Training) 9am-1pm, Lawrence Tech, Buell Mgt Bld, Southfield, Michigan.
Feb ~ early April 2010: Qualifying Competitions
Mid April 2010: Regional Championships (Michigan Regional - April 24, 9am to 2pm, Don Ridler Field House at Lawrence Tech; all others, Video Submission Deadline, April 17)
May 8, 2010: World Robofest 2010 Championship, 8:30am~5pm, Lawrence Tech, Southfield, Michigan
June: IGVC Invitational at Oakland University
