Purpose:
The
practice Warm-up competition is a great opportunity for new teams, Regional
Site Hosts and Judges.� This Warm-Up is a
practice competition for participants to see how the Robofest Competition
works.� For Competition Site Hosts and
Judges who are not in close proximity, we will post flash animations for game
judging as well as streaming video from the warm-up competition on the web.�

Exhibition
Demonstrations begin. A typical demo: 15 seconds of team member introduction,
max. 4 minutes 45 seconds of robot demo, and Answer a Question for 45
seconds. Games must be paused when there is an official exhibition
presentation; Judges visit exhibition team tables for further interviews. |

Game First Round; First come first serve basis.
Teams will get extra points, if they compete in 1st and 2nd
matches and solve the unknown
problems. Each team member must introduce her/his name, grade, and role using
a microphone to Game Judges & the public within 15 seconds. Emcee will
ask a question selected at random. The team needs to answer the question
within 45 seconds. It will take approximately seven minutes in length, which
includes move-in, introduction, Answer a Question, competition, and move-out.
Inspection and programming judges may visit the team tables at this time, if
they need additional questions. |
