(1) Robofest 2008 Team Registration has begun!

Robofest is now in full swing. Top level rules and game rules are finalized and posted on the web at www.robofest.net. New Robofest coach registration has been opened at www.robofest.net

Team registration at www.robofest.net began on Jan 21. Some divisions at some sites are already full. Please register early in order to compete at the site near your school or home.

 

(2) Free team Registration at the MACUL Grand Rapids site �
Any of the teams that register for Robofest MACUL qualifying site in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Wed., March 5, 2008  12:00 p.m.  � 5:00 p.m., will have a free registration thanks to a grant from the REMC Association. Free lunch will be provided for teams, too. Space is limited. Please register teams now. Robofest will be held as an associate event during the MACUL (Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning) conference, March 5-7. (3) Robofest Seeks Your Help in Reaching More Students

Robofest is always looking for ways to promote participation in competition.� If you are a member of an organization, an on-line community, list serve, or other group who might be interested in being a part of Robofest, please forward them information about the Robofest 2008 Season, or forward them the Robofest web site address, www.robofest.net��� Robofest is also willing to send out electronic and hard copies of promotional flyers if you would like to forward mail lists to [email protected]� Thank you for your continued support!!

 

(4)� Free Programming Workshops for Teams

Please check out the free Robofest workshop schedule updated today at http://www.robofest.net/2008/workshops.htm .

Workshop materials such as PPT and source codes will be available on the web after the classes.

Another NXTG programming workshop is scheduled on this Sat. Feb.2nd for beginners.

 

(5)� Robofest Looking for 5 Year Coaches

We wish to recognize all of our Robofest Coaches who have reached their 5 year mark this year by presenting them with an award during the World Robofest 2008 Championship, on April 26, 2008.�� Robofest is looking for the names of Coaches who have been a Robofest Coach for 5 years.

If you are a Robofest Coach who has reached this 5 year anniversary, please send Tiffany Platt a note and let her know.� Send a message to [email protected]

 

(6)  Robofest Coordinator Update
