(1) Registration Open Now

Registration is now open for all sites. Please register your teams as soon as possible. We will close each site down three weeks before the competition date, so be sure to register before then. You can view a list of all the sites and their competitions dates by using the following link http://robofest.org/GenericSiteWebPage_list_ByDate.jsp?year=2010 .

 

(2) Warm-Up Competition/Judges Training on Sat., Feb. 13th

Robofest is still in need of Exhibition, RoboFashion and Sr. Game teams to participate in our Warm-Up competition on Sat, Feb. 13th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Lawrence Tech. Cafeteria, Buell Mgt. Bldg.� RSVP to [email protected] to sign up.� Site host judges and volunteers are also welcome to attend to learn this year�s rules � judges, please arrive at 8:30 AM for a pre-Warm-Up judges meeting.

 

(3) FREE copy of ROBOTC for Robofest Teams through CMU

CMU�s Robotics Academy has offered to partner with Robofest, and provide a classroom license copy of RobotC, free of charge, to each team that registers for Robofest 2010. Two different versions are available, one for Mindstorms and one for VEX. However, it is only a 90-day license. (4) PowerMeter Sensors Free for Exhibition Teams

Twenty Mindsensor�s PowerMeter sensors are now available for registered Robofest exhibition teams.� These sensors can be used to measure realtime current and voltage.� Learn how to use them at special Q & A workshops at Lawrence Tech.� :

(5) Upload Team Photos

When registering your teams be sure to upload a team photo. Photos must be submitted by 3 weeks prior to your competition date. Like last year, we will be awarding trophies for best team photos for both the senior and junior divisions.�

 

(6) Vision Centric Challenge Qualifying Competitions

All Vision Centric Challenge (L2Bot) high school and college teams are required to compete once before the May 8 World Championship.� High school teams may choose a site from the table at http://robofest.org/reports/listAllTeamStatistics.jsp?year=2010� and complete registration through www.robofest.net .� College teams must register to compete at the LTU_MI site on April 24, 2010 from 4 � 8 PM here in the Lawrence Tech Cafeteria, Buell Mgt. Bldg.�

 

(7) Volunteers Needed for Robofest Competitions

Robofest qualifying competitions are in need of volunteers to staff their events.� Please go to http://robofest.org/GenericSiteWebPage_list_ByDate.jsp?year=2010 to select a site and go to the volunteers home page to register.� Many volunteers make the competition go smoothly!� Thank you in advance for supporting Robofest!
