(3) Resources and Updates at www.robofest.net ================================================== (1) We are pleased to announce two additional Robofest 2003 sites. - "CIS-DW" site in Detroit: Cranbrook Institute of Science is organizing and hosting Robofest 2003 on the same day at The Dexter-Elmhurst Family and Community Center with the support from Wayne County Family Independence Agency. They are inviting only Lego Competition teams. Teams in the waiting list should register their teams in that site. There will be no space available at LTU site. - "New Hampshire" site: RoboTech Center in Nashua is organizing and hosting Robofest 2003 at RoboTech Center (tentatively) on May 3rd. No laptop robot contests. They may charge check-in fees. For registration, please go to www.robofest.net then you will find links to each new site. If you know someone in New Hampshire and Boston area, please let them know about Robofest! (2) Free class: Lego with Java programming Date: Sat. Mar 22 Time: 1:00pm-4:30pm Location: LTU Science 321 This class is for Robofest advanced division teams; if seats are available, the class is open to future robofest advanced division teams. Each team must bring a laptop, Lego RCX, motors, sensors, and the IR tower. If you or your team wants to attend this free class, you must send an email to chung@ltu.edu. (3) Resources such as informational meeting handouts, programming tips, useful web-links, robot demo videos, score sheets, faqs, clarifications, revisions, etc. are available at the Robofest home at www.robofest.net.
