(1) Robofest 2010 Registration is Still Open

Robofest 2010 is still open for some sites. Please register your teams as soon as possible. We will close each site down three weeks before the competition date, so be sure to register before then. You can view a list of all the sites and their competitions dates by using the following link http://robofest.org/GenericSiteWebPage_list_ByDate.jsp?year=2010 .

Please note the addition of Redford and Battle Creek sites in Michigan.

 

(2) Ann Arbor Trail Site Date has changed from Mar 20 to March 27.

 

(3) RET (Robotics, Engineering and Technology) Week

RET Week Organized by Joint Center For Robotics is designed to introduce high school and middle school students to technology based careers through interactive demonstrations with some of today's current and future robotic systems. For more details including registration, please go to:

(4) PowerMeter Sensors Free for Exhibition Teams

Some Mindsensor�s PowerMeter sensors are still available for registered Robofest exhibition teams.� These sensors can be used to measure realtime current and voltage.� To request the sensors for free, please email Wendy MacLennan at [email protected]

 

(5) MCWTF Grant Winners

MCWTF has selected this year�s Robofest grant recipients, with each team receiving $500. Teams are:

Lady Trojan Lego Brainiacs of Clarenceville Schools

LegoBot Girls of Ida Pubilc Schools

Our Lady of the Lakes Middle School � Team #2 of Waterford Schools

TK Trojans of Thornapple Kellogg Schools

Ultimate Robo Builders of Plymouth Canton Schools

 

(6) Looking for a team to Join

An 11-yr.-old student who has attended Lego Engineering classes after school is looking for a team to join in the Lake Orion area.� Please contact Kristine at� krissysteen @ yahoo.com if you have any openings.

(7) Congrats to qualifier winners
